Arleston Neighbourhood Watch - 24th November 2020
They will be required to provide further information to assist with any investigation into the complaint.
Residents who witness fly tipping on council land can report such incidents, this can be done via an online portal found here:
https://www.telford.gov.uk/
Again, they may be required to provide further information to assist with any investigation into the complaint
We would advise residents to ensure that their properties are secure. If you have any unwanted items, please take them to Telford Recycling Centre to prevent this man from entering your property. For more information about the recycling centre, please visit this link
https://www.telford.gov.uk/info/20380/household_recycling_centres_hrcs_and_e-permits
There are concerns that this man and others who have been spotted around Telford, have been searching bins to take private and confidential information. Also please ensure that you do not dispose of any letters, bank statements etc in the bin. We would recommend that you purchase a shredder if you have not got one, to ensure that any confidential letters are destroyed appropriately. We wouldn't want anyone to become a victim of fraud.
Zoom Session This Week
We have a zoom meeting scheduled with Cllr Angela McClements and an officer from the safer neighbourhood team this week.
If you have any questions, concerns or comments that you would like us to raise on your behalf, please let us know.
You can send us a message via our FB page. Alternatively, please send us an email to arlestonneighbourhoodwatch@gmail.com
Thank you
Residents of Bayley Road
We have been contacted by a concerned resident about activities that have taken place on Bayley Road.
Can we please ask you to remain vigilant for any unusual cars that are not often seen to be parked on the road. Also if you do see anyone acting suspiciously or you have information that the police may be interested in about a resident(s) or visitors who are seen on the street or surrounding areas, please call 101.
In the event of an emergency, please call 999. Please provide them with any vehicle details or descriptions of anyone acting suspiciously.
Perhaps you are aware of a neighbour having visitors at all times of day and night? If you have any concerns, please contact the police.
In the words of the resident who has already contacted the police with their concerns and also made contact with us "we just want our neighbourhood to be safe". This was one reason why this neighbourhood watch scheme was set up, to try to make our neighbourhood a safer place to live
Thank you for your co-operation
