Arleston Neighbourhood Watch - W/C 23rd November 2020

As we head in to a new week, we thought we would provide you with an update.

COMMUNITY SPEED MONITORING TEAM

Due to the concerns from residents about speeding vehicles that travel through Arleston, we are looking to set up a community speed monitoring team.

We have had several enquiries from residents who were interested in joining the team. So far, we have only received one completed application. For a scheme to be considered by West Mercia Police for our area, we need at least 6 applications from residents who would like to join our team.

If you have concerns about speeding vehicles in the area and you would like to become a member of the monitoring team, please send us a message via our FB page or via email. Our email address is arlestonneighbourhoodwatch@gmail.com

We look forward to hearing from you

FLYTIPPING & ABANDONED VEHICLE

We are continuing to report items that have been dumped within the area. If you happen to come across any items that have been dumped, please report to Telford & Wrekin Council. This can be done via their website or via the "Everyday Telford App"

BEWARE

You maybe aware of a man who walks around the streets pushing a pushchair with no child in it. This man has been spotted on numerous occasions trespassing on residents properties. He has been seen to take items left in gardens. Can we please ask all residents to keep an eye out for this gentleman. He is quite distinctive. He is from Hungry and has been seen to walk with a limp. He is often seen pushing a pushchair. He is a resident on Watling Street. If you see this gentleman trespassing and taking other people's property, please call 101 and give them as much information as you can.

We will be speaking to a local officer this week & will make him aware of the feedback that we have received so far about this gentleman.
