An open letter to residents

Dear Resident,

We hope that you are keeping well.

We wanted to take the opportunity to write to all residents to confirm our commitment to the scheme.

We have been made aware by quite a few residents in the last week about instances of anti social behaviour taking place in different areas of Arleston.

We would like to remind all residents who have been effected by instances of anti social behaviour, to report them to the police via 101. Alternatively, you can report online via www.westmercia.police.uk or https://crimestoppers-uk.org/

You can report instances of anti social behaviour or any suspicious activities or crime anonymously. We understand why some residents may be afraid to report instances to the Police. However, our local police team have assured us that reports can be made anonymously. Please see a letter below to confirm this.

We totally understand how anti social behaviour can effect people's lives as we live with instances of it too. We want to reassure our fellow neighbours, that we are doing all that we can to address issues that are raised to us. We work very closely with the Police, our local councillor and other 3rd parties.

Due to an increase in anti social behaviour in several locations around Arleston, we have continued our work with everyone mentioned above. As a result CCTV cameras have been installed in several key locations, which is fantastic.

If you need to contact us with any concerns that you have, please send us a message via our Facebook Page. Alternatively, you can send us an email. We can assure you that any information that is sent to us, does remain confidential. In the event of us having to raise concerns with the Police or another 3rd party, we will always ask your permission to share the information with you first. If you are happy for us to send it on, we will ensure that your identity is not made public unless you want to be contacted with an update from either the police or the council etc.

We are very passionate about making our community a better place to live. With the help of residents coming together and by us working with each other and with 3rd parties, we will be able to achieve some positive results.

Let's do all that we can to make Arleston a better place to live

Thank you for your continued support and co-operation
