How did you find out about street champions?
Through advertisement on the neighbourhood watch page
What appealed to you in becoming a Street Champion?
Want to look after our community and clean it up

Yes! Found the process very easy
How did you find your first outing as a Street Champion?
It was good to get out & felt nice making a different to the area
Which areas did you cover?
All around Arleston!
What type of items did you find?
2 instances of fly tipping, lots of recycling, beer cans etc, sharp items
What did you enjoy about your experience as a Street Champion?
The satisfaction knowing we are helping our local community
How often do you think you will be going out to pick litter?
every day at least!
Has this experience made you realise how important it is to dispose of litter correctly?
Definitely! I didnt realise how much litter there was dumped in the streets.
We would like to thank Kels & Rio for deciding to become street champions for Arleston!
They have joined a team that now consists of 11 Street champions. We are planning a get together so all the street champions can meet one another. This gives volunteers the opportunities of making friends too.
